Call to upgrade Gaudion Reserve

12 Mar, 2010 09:46 AM
WEST Footscray residents will gather at Gaudion Reserve this Saturday to call on Maribyrnong Council to upgrade their local park.

The community picnic, organised by Friends of Gaudion Reserve, will be a chance to share ideas on improving the drought-affected park and to sign a petition to be handed to the council.

Mayor Sel Sanli and Footscray MP Marsha Thomson will be there on the day to meet residents.

Entertainment will include a barbecue, music and games, with the event starting at noon on Barkly Street, West Footscray.
