IT has been three months in the making, but the cast of Sinbad is ready to go. This year marks the 23rd year in which the Altona City Theatre has produced a children's pantomime to coincide with the Bayside Festival. This time the story is set in the town of Warezit, where sailor Sinbad dreams of winning the heart and hand of the beautiful Shaheen.

Teenager Billy Kelleher, pictured, has taken on the role of Sinbad, and is joined by a cast of 30.

The show opens Friday and runs for five weeks.
